I am looking forward to the Lapidus Day on Saturday. Lapidus has members all over the UK and beyond and annually, we gather to talk about reading and writing for health and well-being. It’s an organisation that no longer has any outside funding and functions through the energies of its voluntary committee. I’ve been part of it for many years and greatly value the sense of community and common purpose it offers. It’s always seemed a little anarchic – certainly has never become ‘corporate’ and is full of imaginative, free-thinking individuals. It’s the day after tomorrow but I think there may be spaces – have a look at their website and if you are curious, come along.
