Reclaiming the Wild Soul: Explore Earth’s Archetypes through Poetry and Metaphor

In this experiential workshop, we’ll take a revealing journey into the territory of our own wild psyches as we explore the archetypes of deserts, forests, oceans and rivers, mountains and grasslands as aspects of our own inner terrain. Participants will choose one landscape that most applies to a current life challenge and see how nature’s metaphors can shed light on aspects of our inner journey. Journal writing and poetry will help to guide our path. No previous writing experience required.

Led by Mary Reynolds Thompson who is an an award-winning writer and certified facilitator of poetry and journal therapy dedicated to helping people bridge the false divide between outer and inner nature, Earth and Self, in order to live wilder, deeper, and more creative lives. She lives in Marin County, US.
