Welcome to my website and blog. I work as a writer and poetry therapist and am based in Canterbury, Kent, UK. My blog explores how particular poems (and sometimes films or other media) illuminate my daily experience. I am just back from teaching a one day workshop at Gladstone’s Library and the regular Writing in Health and Social Care course at Tŷ Newydd. The picture above is the view from Criccieth Castle – a few miles walk along the coast from Llanystumdwy, the village where the National Writers Centre for Wales is located. The late September weather was glorious. The snap below shows the amazing wallpaper in my bedroom at Gladstone’s Library.
Both events were very enjoyable and enriching -thanks to all who took part, and especially to my esteemed colleague Graham Hartill.
